Powerful 49 hp Perkins engine makes this light 5 ton boat a true seagull in strong winds - the boat easily motors up the wind with good speed.The engine was stripped down to the bolt in summer 2014 in Malta by a professional Perkins engineer, all was renewed and replaced by new original parts. Perkins engines proved to be one of the most reliable and long lasting in the world, this overhauling will ensure thousands of motor hours to come. The engine is never overheated even after motoring for a long time in high seas and has minimal oil consumption. The engine was fully rewired and has an absolutely new panel of gauges, with a water temperature and an oil pressure alarm.
