Overview
At a great value, Jolina boasts an
open and spacious main deck with 4 staterooms plus crew quarters.
She is an 83’ Motoryacht with a 9’ swim platform and hull extension
that doubles her fuel capacity. This gives Jolina an impressive fuel
range of around 1,000 miles at full cruise nearly 3 times that at
displacement speed. Cruise the Caribbean with ease.
Accommodations
Rare
very open main deck layout is ideal for owner-operators or charter
with open half-moon galley to starboard, large dining area to port
forward of convenient day head and entertainment center. The helm is
forward with starboard side door. The main deck is open from helm all
the way to aft deck with excellent visibility. A custom 9' hull
extension added in 1999 created an ideal dive platform with crew area
directly off the platform, 2000 gals added fuel capacity and 16' tender
and davit. Heading up the molded stairway is a large teak aft deck with
double stainless steel sliding salon doors to salon and molded-in stairs
up to the flybridge to starboard.
This
is a four stateroom arrangement. Full beam Master is aft and below
salon accessed by private aft stairs in the salon with engine room
access from common foyer. The three guest staterooms are accessed
from forward helm area stairs. There is a forward VIP with queen berth
and 2 twin guest staterooms amidship starboard and port forward. There
is a laundry room off the companionway forward, ensuite heads for all
staterooms, and a large crew quarters aft off the platform. The vessel
sleeps 8 guests plus 2 crew.
The
spacious FB offers semi-circular seating to port, a custom hardtop,
full helm forward and large mast with storage. There is ample room to
add a BBQ grill or a small hot tub?
Another
unique feature is very narrow 6" wide "service side decks" running port
and starboard of the salon forward from aft deck to bow. This allows
water to run off the bow more easily and crew to access the sides for
cleaning. It is unique to this President as is the extra high headroom
below decks.
Walkthrough
This
is an extremely versatile and spacious layout with an open main deck
salon and semi-circular galley/ bar area to port, large dining area to
starboard and large helm area forward with additional settee and pilot's
chair. This wide-open main deck area opens on to a large aft deck with
molded stairs up to the FB and down to the extended platform and crew
quarters. The master is accessed via private stairs aft to starboard in
the salon. The three guest cabins are all the way forward with private
stairs from the pilothouse area. There is a large full height walk-in
engine room. This vessel was built with extra headroom throughout.

Cockpit
The 9' hull extension is currently a very
solid platform with tender but could easily be refinished to be a full
fishing and diving cockpit at a reasonable cost. Such an improvement
would greatly increase the eye appeal and value of the yacht.
Additional Features
She has solid FRP hull construction,
preferred CAT 3412 machinery, very long-range capability, good speeds,
and she can carry 2 tenders, one on the FB and one on the aft extended
platform with davit. The 9' extended transom platform is a complete
underwater hull extension with an additional 2000 gallons of fuel for
extended range. This is a very solid platform hull extension which adds
versatility to the use of the vessel. Crew quarters are aft and accessed
directly from this platform so she is ideal for serious diving
enthusiasts. The aft davit can be used for undersea recovery and the
crew area can function as a large storage area with head and shower and
huge storage for dive equipment.
Remarks
"Jolina" was a leftover new 83 President
MY (Presidents Flagship Model) and was on the cover of Power & Motor
Yacht magazine in 1995. The previous owner lengthened her to 92' feet
with a full hull extension to add fuel range creating a large platform
to handle a larger tender. Her topsides were freshly painted in 2016.
