Overview

This popular V58 Princess has lived a charmed life in the fresh to brackish waters of the upper Chesapeake Bay.  Equipped with the bigger power 1050hp MAN diesels, it will get you where you want to go quickly and in fine style.  

An impressive yacht with powerful lines, the Princess / Viking Sport Cruiser V58 looks as good as it runs.  Sleek topsides with molded spray rails and a deep-V bottom define the hull, and high-gloss cherry joinery highlights the spacious interior.  The V58’s folding sunroof offers the advantage of making the roof disappear and letting the sun shine in.  The cockpit layout is centered around a huge U-shaped lounge for seating or dining.  The V58 features a double helm seat and comfortable cockpit seating as well as plush upholstered aft sun pad raising at the push of a button to reveal a large bay for a tender or PWC. The below decks accommodations allows six adults to sleep in three staterooms.  The amidships master has a double berth and en-suite head, as does the forepeak VIP cabin. Additional features include a spacious engine room, teak cockpit sole, hidden galley appliances, and cockpit grill.

Excellent Sea Keeping Ability

The hull is a high-performance deep-vee design incorporating propeller tunnels for maximum efficiency and speed.  This high-tech design has a moderate beam-to length ratio and delivers a smooth, dry and stable ride.  The yacht has impressive rough water and high-speed cruising abilities.  The deep, sharp, forefoot handles a steep chop, extending the range of conditions for comfortable cruising.  Reverse chines, modified propeller pockets, a moderate weight, and high-strength hand laid fiberglass construction all contribute to efficiency, stability and exciting open-water performance.
