Vessel Walkthrough

The 2670 is a great offshore boat with a wide beam and high gunnels yet surprisingly light and agile hull. Based on the original "J" boat design from Pursuit , the new 2670 incorporates the finest and most up to date construction techniques and materials while utilizing some of the best outboard power plants on the market today.

Powered by twin outboard, the 2670 has a closed transom with storage for the dive ladder. A tuna gate provides easy access to the integrated engine bracket/dive platform and enables the boating of extremely large pelagics. The transom contains a deep 49-gallon livewell and bait prep station in addition to bilge access. There's a large fishbox in the floor and rod storage under each of the padded gunnels.

The center console is well designed with all instrumentation, electronics and controls perfectly placed. The walkways are wide too with high gunnels for added safety. Those with junior boaters or white knuckles crew will appreciate this most. Forward of the console is a front bench seat with cooler beneath. Inside the console you'll find dive tank storage and a CD player next to the breaker panel. The finish on the interior of the console is equivalent to that of the exterior... high quality gelcoat and well-designed storage areas.

The cuddy contains a double berth, marine head, storage and rod racks. While the 2670 is small in size, the cuddy is very roomy and could easily accommodate a pair of anglers for an overnight or weekend mission fishin'. The main batteries are also accessible from and internal access hatch inside the cuddy. The is a welcome change for the battery placement and makes the servicing or changing of batteries a not so unpleasant task.

Access to the non-skidded foredeck is easy by way of integral steps that are well placed forward and flank each side of the cuddy entrance. There's a ventilation hatch entered in the casting deck and even room for a windlass for easy anchoring using the molded bow pulpit with anchor chute and hawse pipe. The bow rails are low but would be unsightly if raised to the knee level.

With a 9'3" beam, overall length of 28'5" the 2670 is an agile vessel that takes on rough water with confidence.

Overall, the 2670 CC is a top shelf choice for those seeking a well built and refined 27-foot center consoler cuddy. Just one ride in the boat will reveal why Pursuit is such a respected name among anglers who know the difference between a good boat and a great boat will leave you with a problem... you can't drive this boat and then go buy something else.
