Overview
A truly sea-going cruising cabin RIB with twin Yanmar diesels. The Ribtec 1200 Grand Tourer has a superbly thought-out cabin, sprung Ullman seats, full nav. kit, hot water, head, galley and 45 knot top out. Must be viewed!
Broker's Comments
This is a serious RIB for serious boaters. Built to Cat. B for 15 P.O.B., she is a fully-sorted fast offshore cruising RIB running on twin mechanically-managed Yanmar 315 diesels, driven via beautiful chromed Kobelt gear/throttle controls. She will top out at 45 knots whilst remaining frugal on burn at cruise in the mid thirties. She is fitted out with a full canopy system on a massive stainless steel frame with Clear-View screen in her forward screen, four incredibly comfortable and ergonomic sprung Ullman Biscaya seats, deck lockers, full Raymarine navigational kit and really workable decks.
Her cabin is accessed through the main console, with two steps down into the single cabin. It is fully trimmed, with a double berth forward, galley to port, concealed marine w.c. to starboard, navigating table aft and cargo nets, deck hatches and ventilation port-lights as required. Neat touches such as a pull-out drawer Waeco refrigerator, night nav. light, battery monitor and water-proofed 240V plug outs show that she has been really thought-out with practicality in mind.
A truly special boat with a very well-proven hull and engineering. Must be seen to be fully understood. Also usefully coded for charter for 60 miles offshore range.
Owner's Comments
This has been the most wonderful boat to have had built and owned over the past six seasons, having taken her to Brest via Cape Finisterre and Paris she has proved herself to be an excellent sea boat and I am sad that due to lack of time I have agreed to sell her
