Overview

The Aquarama Special is the ultimate version of the final series of mahogany runabouts. Amongst the boats produced by Cantiera Riva between 1971 and 1995 was hull number 652, the example offered here. It was part of the second series, which had been manufactured from 1973 to the mid-1990s, and it featured a redesigned instrument panel and a powerful pair of Riva V-8s

Today, this Aquarama Special has benefited from having had only three owners from new, and as such, it is one of the finest examples available. The boat has been fully registered in Switzerland since 1975 and is allowed, as a classic gasoline-powered runabout, to be used without restriction on the lakes of any country where such motorboats are permitted.

Early in 2017 she underwent a restoration programme at Riva RAM and is looking fabulous.
