Overview
This 2002 40 Riviera is a clean, well-kept fishing and cruising yacht. She has several custom upgrades and features, such as newer Raymarine electronics, synthetic teak flooring in the cockpit and flybridge and a full isinglass enclosure. This boat was designed and built in Australia, with the harsh southern pacific sea conditions in mind; it has excellent sea keeping abilities. The interior is a unique layout with a v-berth master and three single berths in the guest stateroom. The reliable 450HP Cummins diesels have only 800 hours and are well maintained!
Vessel Walkthrough
Stepping on board this vessel, you step across a large, sturdy swim platform and through an offset center transom gate. You will find a spacious cockpit adorned with synthetic teak decking. It features a live well, cooler, prep sink and engine room access. The center mounted ladder brings you up to a roomy flybridge with four sided enclosures. Twin Pompanette helm chairs sit behind a starboard mounted helm console, with bench seating to port and forward. From the cockpit, you will enter the saloon through a glass paned swinging door. There is an L-shaped sofa to port, and a transverse L-shaped settee for the dinette to starboard and slightly forward. The galley is a step down on the port side of the vessel, below unusual front facing salon windows. Across from the galley is the guest stateroom, with three single berths situated amidships. Moving towards the bow, the head has private access into the master stateroom, as well as a door in the companionway for use as a day head. A queen size island bed in the bow finishes off this unpretentious and comfortable yacht.
