Walkthrough

This 36 Sabre MKII Express is a beautiful downeast cruiser that would be just as at home cruising to a weekend yacht club function as it would be taking on the Great Loop.   Classic lines accented by just the right amount of teak make this a timeless express.

The cockpit is easily entered from the swim platform through a transom door.  The cockpit features a bench seat across the transom that folds neatly away when not in use as well as an aft facing bench seat with storage beneath.  The cockpit opens to the helm area which has a custom radar arch for easily mounting an array of electronics and providing added rigidity to the canvas and enclosure.

Seating around the helm is abundant with a forward facing bench seat, companion teak ladder back chair on pedestal and a matching helm chair with teak ladder back.  Both helm and companion chairs have canvas covers as well as a canvas cover for the helm.  The arrangements on this boat make it one of the best mid 30 foot boats to entertain on!

The stainless steel windshield is another hint to the quality components that went into building this boat and it has a center vent that opens for a nice breeze.

Moving down below the teak woodwork will stop you in your tracks and make you realize that you are indeed on a luxury yacht!  Teak and holly flooring runs throughout and the teak bulkheads and cabinetry are accented by neutral colored solid surface countertops.

The galley is to port and has a refrigerator/freezer below counter, drop in storage and trash chutes, stainless steel sink, microwave, and even a gas oven with range top!  Across to starboard is a U-shaped Settee done in an ultra-suede.  There is a walnut table with teak surround for comfortable dining.  The settee does convert to a double berth.

Forward and to the port is the large head that has an entrance from the salon as well as a private entrance from the master.  The master is forward and features a large v-berth that converts to a huge master berth.  The v-berth option on this boat give the master a much larger feel then the island berths found on some 36's.   On the boats with island berths you walk almost immediately in the door to the stateroom and hit the foot of the bed.

In "Bit O Blarney"s arrangement the stateroom is much more open and allows for easier egress into the hanging locker as well as room to actually walk around in the master.

The cabin is fitted out nicely with overhead and side ports which give it a bright feel even with the abundance of wood.   Classic touches like high quality reading lanterns throughout provide for a warmth not found in production style boats.
