The 47 Sabreline Aft Cabin is a comfortable, high quality, traditional motor yacht or fast trawler. Naiad Stabilizers provide comfort and safety at sea. The bow thruster makes docking easy. Twin 435 HP CAT 3208 diesel power will push her up on plane when wanted and will cruise her very economically at 10 knots. With a generous 15’ beam, you will enjoy the convenience and safety of a full walk-around with wide side decks and a spacious interior living space. There is an aft cockpit for deck chairs with a transom door to the swim platform. The interior cabinetry is tastefully crafted in satin finish cherry with teak & holly soles throughout.
The salon and lower helm have port and starboard sliding entry doors and large opening windows for great visibility and a bright and open feeling. The 16,000 BTU reverse cycle salon A/C & heat is a remote unit with the compressor in the engine room for quiet efficient operation. There is comfortable seating around the large U-shaped settee with a drop leaf table for entertaining or dining. The table also converts to a double berth. Opposite on the port side are the bar and entertainment center. Aft to port are the entry to the master stateroom and an exit to the aft deck. Forward to port are the sliding side door and the nav table. Forward to starboard are the lower helm and starboard side sliding door. Excellent visibility and a comfortable helm seat make this a very functional helm in any conditions. It is especially handy when docking because of quick access to the wide side decks through port and starboard doors and when running in bad weather.
The U-Shaped cruising galley is down a few steps and forward from the salon. It is bright and open with the windshield overhead, 2 opening stainless steel ports, and a deck hatch. Galley equipment includes large front loading Subzero refrigerator and freezer, an excellent Force 10 stove with oven, microwave and double sink with filtered water.
Aft, in the master stateroom, the berth is a queen size walk-around. In addition to 3 cedar lined lockers, there is ample drawer storage for long term cruising. There are 6 stainless steel opening ports in the master stateroom, a rear exit to the aft cockpit, and 16,000 BTU reverse cycle remote A/C & heat with the compressor in the engine room. The ensuite head and large separate shower both have white tile floors.
The VIP stateroom is forward with ensuite head and separate shower. The head and shower, both with white tile floors, also serve as the day head with access from the galley area. The very large V-berth offers 2 separate berths and has a filler for one very large berth. There are 12,000 BTU reverse cycle A/C & heat in the VIP in addition to 2 opening stainless steel ports and a deck hatch.
The flybridge has a bimini, enclosure, and full covers. You have excellent visibility from ladder back helm and mate seats and there is an L-shaped settee with storage under and a teak table. There is a Plexiglas paper chart holder in addition to the Northstar GPS plotter and other electronics. An igloo cooler is conveniently mounted on top of a custom storage locker. Additional storage is located under the helm area.
The dingy and davit are very conveniently located on the sundeck. For safety, comfort, and convenience, there are wide side decks with deep bulwarks and stainless steel rails. The aft cockpit is large enough to relax in your deck chairs. There is generous lazarette storage in the cockpit and a transom door to the swim platform with swim ladder. Exterior teak is minimal and the teak cockpit combing is covered with Sumbrella. The aft shore cord is on a Cablemaster reel. Forward there is an optional shore power connection with power cords stored in lazarette. The plow anchor rests on the anchor davit mounted on the pulpit with a vertical electric windlass. Additional port and starboard bow lockers provide storage. The Delta second anchor and rode are stored in the starboard locker. There is a fresh water washdown on the foredeck. Contrasting non-skid decks reduce glare.
The engine room is clean and dry and easily accessible under the salon sole. A long skeg provides directional stability and some protection for the running gear.
In short, this is an excellent cruising boat, ready to take you with comfort and safety to the destinations you dream about!
