Overview

A much-admired and upgraded Nelson 45, built by Seaward Marine, and re-engined with twin  Mermaid 300HP turbo diesels in 2003. Kohler generator, heating, recent batteries - these TT boats are simply exceptional in a seaway and hugely built.

Broker's Comments

BLUE VENTURE OF NEDD is an excellent example of her class. The Nelson 45 offers legendary sea-keeping with a surprising amount of volume, not necessarily found aboard other Nelsons.

Owner's Comments

This is a very comfortable yacht. The aft deck has been remodelled with seating units to allow eating at a table (demountable). Spray hood and bimini provide good on-deck shelter on windy and sunny days alike. Owner refitted her in 2002/03. Then again in 2013/14. She has been cruised extensively in the UK and Mediterranean (Greece, Sicily, Malta, the west coast of Italy, Corsica, and the south of France).
