ACCOMMODATIONS

RESOLUTE sleeps four in two private cabins, plus two in the pilothouse and one in the main salon. Interior joiner work is all varnished cherry with satin finish, and solid teak and holly cabin soles with gloss finish. Countertops are varnished cherry with inlays, hull ceilings are varnished cherry, and overheads are white tongue and groove with cherry trim. Leather upholstery throughout the interior.

MAIN SALON

A watertight door opens into the main salon from the aft deck area. There is an L-shaped settee to port with dining table and bar with bottle and glass storage cabinet. To starboard there are two upholstered cherry chairs, a desk and an entertainment console with two bar stools forward on centerline for sitting at the raised galley counter. A TV cabinet with sliding doors is above the refrigerator. Large opening windows on all sides provide exceptional light and visibility. Emergency access to engine room can be made through cabin sole.

GALLEY

The galley is conveniently located at the forward end of the main salon for social interaction with those seated and easy access to pilothouse just forward and up a few steps.  There are numerous drawers and storage lockers.

GUEST CABIN

The guest cabin is just a few steps down from the main salon and to port, featuring large upper and lower berths, a hanging locker, drawer, multiple lockers and two opening portholes.  The guest/day head is to starboard and features a wash basin, electric toilet, shower stall and two opening portholes.

MASTER STATEROOM

The master cabin is forward and features a generous V-berth with filler section to create a large double. There are large hanging lockers each side, a vanity/desk with seat to port, and a large bureau to starboard.  Four opening portholes and a deck hatch provide great light and ventilation. An en-suite head features an electric toilet, wash basin, bathtub/shower and two opening portholes.

PILOTHOUSE

Stepping up half a level from the main salon/galley is the pilothouse, with functional helm station offering superb visibility.  Instrumentation is built-in, with electrical panels to starboard and chart table with storage to port.  There is a raised bench seat with footrest and chart storage aft of the helm position, with cushions for use as occasional berth and a full pilot berth behind.  Access to side decks is easy with watertight doors each side, and access to the flybridge via sliding companionway hatch.

FLYBRIDGE

Large flybridge area features full instrumentation and engine controls.  There are twin helm seats and a large boat deck aft with (4) folding chairs, dinghy chocks, and painted aluminum mast/cargo boom with electric lift motor.  A hatch with railings and ladder leads down to aft deck for easy access.

HULL and DECK

The displacement hull features a full length keel with protected prop on centerline.  Solid FRP hull construction with vinylester resin on exterior skins and molded rub rail with heavy-duty stainless striker.  Decks are FRP with balsa core. Hull is light gray with dark blue boot stripe and green bottom.  Deck house is off-white with light grey non-skid pattern.

 

The Portuguese bridge provides useful storage and protection, along with twin forepeak lockers for storage of separate anchor rodes. There are covered  walkways aft from the pilothouse along both sides leading to a roomy covered aft deck space with lazarette storage space under. There are boarding doors on each side, as well as a door leading down to the swim platform aft.
