The Shearwater 33 utilizes the now legendary Michael Peters transverse stepped hull in an inboard platform with remarkable results. She accelerates to plane so quickly, her running angle never exceeds eight degrees. With forward hull sections that reflect the classic Carolina bow the Shearwater 33 provides a dry and stable ride.

Beginning in the oversized cockpit, features include two large in deck fisboxes a transom livewell, bait prep station, drink box, and a transom door. Moving forward up one step leads to the 3 sided EZ2CY enclosed bridge deck with matching port and starboard molded fiberglass helm and companion seats. The cabin is entered through a centerline sliding door and down four steps. Immediately to port is the head with shower followed by the galley. To starboard is a U shaped cushioned settee surrounding a varnished teak rectangular dining table. The master berth and hanging locker are all the way forward.
