Overview

Every amateur astronomer recognizes Polaris, better known as "the North Star", as one of the brightest stars in the sky. Well this POLARIS, a 2002 Sunseeker Manhattan 74, is aptly named and very much a bright, shining star in her own right. To continue the metaphor, her owner's "North Star" has been a rigorous maintenance regime and a "spare no expense" commitment to every aspect of the yacht - all of which is readily apparent, immediately upon boarding.

With a new hull paint job and a $150,000 upgrade of her engine room, POLARIS' performance, both of the mechanical and aesthetic variety, is second-to-none.  She accommodates up to six guests in three en-suite staterooms, with an executive study and separate crew quarters rounding out her luxurious, yet highly functional, accommodations.

POLARIS is a must-see and brand new to the market. Fortunately one need not travel to the constellation of Ursa Minor for a viewing - this Sunseeker is conveniently available for showing right here in the heart of Fort Lauderdale!

Vessel Walk through

Overview
This 74' Sunseeker's main deck layout is unique for a vessel of this size - her amply-sized aft deck, which is perfectly set-up for al fresco dining, is what is most apparent as one approaches POLARIS. A passing glance at the hydraulic swim platform, which is more than robust enough for a serious tender, is one immediate hint of the superior engineering to be found throughout this stunning Sunseeker.

The stairwell to the flybridge is located to starboard on the aft deck; this upper deck is phenomenal, featuring all of the accoutrements necessary for both entertaining & navigating. Among other features, the flybridge on POLARIS boasts an impressive L-shaped bench with an accompanying table; a Sea-Doo waverunner; a forward helm station; and, last but not least, a grilling station that permits, nay encourages, world-class grilling. The easily-stowed-away bimini top makes it easy to cool down in the shade one minute and, after a quick application of sunscreen of course, enjoy the sun's rays the next.

Moving back downstairs and into the main salon is a galley, replete with top-of-the-line appliances, immediately to starboard. Opposite the galley is a massive settee, making the aft part of the main salon the ideal spot for socializing and, perhaps, even sampling the delectable food that awaits your next meal. In the forward area of the main salon, to port, is an over-sized, supremely inviting-looking, wrap-around settee that appears comfortable enough to seat a couple of dozen guests (though in reality, the actual number might be slightly more modest).

POLARIS's guest quarters are as impressive as the rest of this yacht, offering accommodations for six guests in three staterooms - the master stateroom is more of a luxury suite than anything else, and is accessible through a private stairwell off the main salon; her remaining two cabins & office are found via a forward stairwell in the main salon. The VIP cabin is impressive enough for even a very very VIP. The third guest cabin holds two twin beds, making this stateroom perfect for children (or anyone else who doesn't quite make the cut for the other two cabins). All staterooms are ensuite. The fourth stateroom has been converted into an office - an ideal spot for closing that big deal.

The crew quarters also set POLARIS apart from many of her peers - it is accessible through the transom and entirely separate from the guest quarters, allowing for maximum privacy. The bottom line? With her ample guest quarters and separate crew quarters, POLARIS is exceptionally private & comfortable, even on the most ambitious of trips.

Remarks
Polaris offers comfortable cruising in all kinds of weather; its beautiful furnishings, large main salon and aft deck area with vivid natural light makes for an incredible entertainment platform for owner and guests. Yet a prospective buyer is not simply buying a well-kept yacht from a storied British builder - for her owner has continued to upgrade & improve POLARIS, as evidenced by the nearly $500,000 refit in 2016, with $150,000 of that spent on the engine room alone. Mere words cannot do this yacht justice - she must be seen in person to be truly appreciated!
