Periploi is a unique steel trawler built by T.D. Vinette of Escanaba, Michigan. Periploi features a full galley, salon with dinette and lower helm in the main cabin and a single stateroom forward with desk and wet head. A fuel efficient single 130 hp Perkins 6.354 diesel main engine runs strong and has approximately 2,500 hours. This vessel is also equipped with a mount on the stern for an additional outboard engine. Periploi has been enjoyed for many years by her current owner on the Great Lakes. She is available for inspection anytime and ready for many more years of cruising.

Boarding Periploi can be done from the small teak swim platform on the port side of the stern. Once in the cockpit access to the main cabin can be accomplished by the aft sliding door or by moving forward up either port or starboard walkways to the helm sliding doors. Entering the main cabin via the aft door you enter into the galley which is on both port and starboard followed by the salon with dinette and then farthest forward in the main cabin is the helm. A companionway to starboard of the helm leads to the master cabin in the bow. In the master cabin a desk is aft to port, the wet head is forward of the companionway and the master double berth is in the bow.

On deck, a large foredeck provides plenty of room to move around during docking or locking operations or for just sitting and relaxing. The cockpit is nearly completely covered and also provides and area for sitting and relaxing. The roof of the master cabin provides storage for a tender and twin propane tanks and also has a solar panel and a davit as well as the mast.

The helm is located forward in the main cabin. Wing doors to both port and starboard provide quick access to the deck for docking or locking operations and provide natural light and ventilation to the cabin. A captains chair is mounted at the wheel which is centered on the helm. A custom built bookcase with fold up table is located to port of the helm and a filler above the companionway to starboard doubles as a chart table.
