Construction

Tiara uses premium polyester and vinylester resins along with the finest in E-glass knitted fiberglass cloth in the layup of their products. The 3500's hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline and is cored with Baltek balsa core in the hull sides above the waterline. The hull has 18 degrees of deadrise at the transom and features two running strakes and reversed chines.The stringers are a grid system design made of hand-laid fiberglass and cored with marine grade plywood. The deck layup is similar to the hull's except the balsa coring is used to stiffen the walking areas of the deck. The hull to deck joint is a "shoe box" style that is chemically and mechanically fastened and is covered with a stainless steel rub rail. The entire boat is hand-laid to the highest standards.

Vessel Walkthrough

The 3500 Express was offered with an A or B interior layout option. "Soft Landing" is the preferred optional B arrangement.

Entering the salon from the companionway offset to port, there is a large L-shaped settee to stbd that will convert to a double berth for family and friends and includes a pull-around screen for privacy. Opposite on port is a spacious galley with all needed appliances and very good storage.

Moving forward, the master stateroom is located in the bow and features an island marine queen berth, full bulkhead for privacy and private access to the head. The head is located on starboard, forward of the settee and features two access points.

The interior is beautifully finished in teak wood with a teak and maple sole. As with all Tiaras, the interior of the 3500 Express is finished to a very high standard.
