Accommodations

This is a single-stateroom 41' Viking featuring a center-line double berth forward with this stateroom having a private entry door to the head. The head has a second door that opens to the companionway and it has a separate shower stall. The galley is down to the starboard side and is roomy with a full-size refrigerator, pantry area, plentiful cabinets & countertop and hideaway stove. Across from the galley to the portside is a large U-shaped dinette that is one small step up from the teak parquet galley sole. The solid teak dinette table can be lowered and converted with cushions to a comfortable double berth area. The dinette and galley areas are beneath the forward deckhouse windows and they are open to the salon area supplying a comfortable open feeling which is complimented by Viking's trademark satin finished teak from this era.

Up three steps to the salon level and there is a L-shaped seating lounge to the aft starboard side with a rattan ottoman / cocktail table with storage beneath. The aft section of the couch has a pull-out sleeper berth in it for the occasional extra guest. To the portside aft is the sliding salon door followed by the main electrical panel behind two doors. Further forward along the portside is a extra main engine gauge panel and Vhf radio followed by the entertainment center with stereo equipment and television on top angled towards the seating area. The deckhouse
windows are dark tinted and are dressed with mini-blinds and upholstered window dressings.

Salon

The salon is wood paneled with satin finished teak that is a Viking Yachts trademark in this generation of production. This vessel has forward deckhouse windows which are covered by gathered off-white curtains with upholstered window dressings with a decorative sea shell print. Valances to either side of the salon have low voltage accent lighting above and the sides and aft window are treated with Levelor mini-blinds. Open area above the forward dinette and galley down opens the interior feeling of this boat up notably. The portside of the salon has
cabinetry containing the main electrical panel and entertainment center with countertops on top. Sansui color TV, Kenwood A/V receiver stereo amp, Pioneer multi-disc CD player, DVD player, and Sony VCR. There is a two door storage cabinet towards the center of the forward salon and across to the starboard side is a two drawer end table at the foot of the L-shape sofa which is covered in a aquamarine leatherette. The cabin sole is carpeted in off-white
cut-pile with a decorative area rug that matches occasional accent pillows. Forward above are four hanging rod holders and there are two more to the aft side of the salon headliner. A couple of flush mounted stereo speakers are forward and 4 KLH speakers are wallmounted at the corners of the area. Access to the engine compartment is through removable hatches on the salon sole.

Dinette & Galley

Down three steps to the galley level there is a teak parquet sole that flows forward into the head and stateroom. The dinette has comfortable upholstered cushions in an off-white patterned print. The outboard wall has a slight shelf edge with 4 cabinet storage areas and a decorative porthole mirror in the center. The forward bulkhead is mirrored to augment the spacious feeling of this area. Carpeting is at the dinette sole.

The galley has off-white laminate cabinetry and door pulls. A stainless steel sink with faucet and Insta-hot water tap. Sharp Carousel II microwave oven is built into the cabinet space below the hideaway stove top which is a 3-burner electric Princess with extractor fan. A full-sized refrigerator/freezer is at the forward side of the countertop and just beyond is a door with panty shelf storage. There is a top opening hatch on the counter which is suitable for storing the trashcan. Plenty of cabinet and drawer storage. At the base of the dinette is the connection for the central vacuum system. There is a small area rug in the galley on the teak parquet.

Stateroom & Head

The stateroom has a platform, centerline double berth which has a off-white sea shell patterned bedspread, pillow shams and décor pillows. To either side of the berth are nightstand shelves and beneath the berth at the foot of the bed are 4 storage drawers. There are also a couple of hanging rod storage racks above the side shelves as well as two adjustable halogen light fixtures. Natural light and ventilation can be added through the overhead deck hatch above the
bed. To either side of the stateroom forward are closets and private access to the head is aft on the portside. Low voltage accent lighting is below the valances.

The head has the teak parquet flooring with area rug and the vanity cabinet is the same off-white laminate as the galley with doors below the solid-surface sink-countertop. Above is the mirrored opening medicine cabinet and a bi-folding door separates the shower stall. The head is a fresh-water Sealand Vacu-flush type.

Broker Comments

The Viking 41 convertible dinette model is an comfortable sized vessel that can be easily handled by two people with an interior that doesn't feel too compact yet capable of accommodating more guests when needed. The dinette easily converts to a nice berth. With most of the features of the larger Vikings this is a nice opportunity of get into the traveling sportfish world at a reasonable entry price.
