Overview

 DNV 1 A1 ICE (C) Purpose built for Polar Exploration. She was equipped with an ice-strengthened hull for this purpose. The ship underwent a major refurbishment in 1986, when she was upgraded to Bergen diesel from Rolls-Royce Marine and 2 x Cummins Auxiliaries.
In 2006 where she was converted into an intimate charter vessel. The stern has been altered to incorporate a landing platform, a small swimming pool and large outdoor dinning area with BBQ facilities. The research laboratories have become a beautiful dining room with surround music. The upper deck has been refurbished into a luxurious TV room with large screen plasma and surround sound. This room adjoins a large sun room/lounge with leather lounges.

Cabins have been refurbished to incorporate beautiful ensuites with very comfortable double beds. The master stateroom has a large ensuite, queen size bed and leather lounge area.

Below deck is a spa room and massage room for the enjoyment of guests.

The Vessel can accommodate 12 guests in 10 cabins.

Aft deck

On the stern is a small swimming pool and a large outdoor dining area with BBQ facility. The swimming pool is heated by an engine cooling water system. There is a bar area with cane furniture, large TV with surround sound, touch screen music and karaoke system.

There are 33 single room accommodations for crew. There is a hospital with 4 beds. The laundry room contains: 1 Electrolux 6KG, 1 Simpson 5 KG, 2 X Simpson 5,5KG.

A full complement of toys and tenders includes a Trailcraft 6600 Sportscab fishing boat powered by a 175 HP Mariner with GPS and VHF. There are 3 Zodiac RIBs with 200hp engines. One has prop-guards for ice conditions, There is a Rotax Sea400 Jetski, and a supply of 2000 liters of gasoline fuel located in aStainless steel gasoline tank on aft gantry.
