Overview

A wonderful cruising boat for a family, Bellerophon is equipped with a list of upgrades that, valued conservatively, exceed her asking price, possibly by a factor of 2.

She has two private sleeping cabins aft, a lovely salon with seating both to port and starboard a galley forward of the salon, and large head forward. She has a Westerbeke 52 horse power diesel, big battery bank, great condition and ready to sail this 2020 season.

Highly recommended for those seeking a tough but good looking, roomy yet proper offshore yacht with all the necessary equipment.

Just moved to her winter berth in Riverside RI, 15 minutes from TF Green Airport. Easily seen.

Overview

ACCOMMODATIONS

GREAT LAYOUT with Two private sleeping cabins aft, and salon mid. Forward to port is the galley. Large head and shower is forward. This wonderful cruising layout sleeps four, plus one in the main salon.

HULL AND DECK

White hull and deck and impressive fittings. The hull is white two part epoxy paint with red accent cove and boot.

The bottom is black ablative bottom paint. The deck is standard with a teak grated bowsprit, non skid pattern on deck surfaces and white gel coat on house sides and flat surfaces. All through hull fittings were removed and either re-bedded or replaced in 2001.

All gate valves were replaced with proper seacock valves. A new cutlass bearing was installed in 2001.

The original design incorporates a real bulwark into the deck structure. This is a great feature creating strong deck structure and hull structure and safer surface for crew to walk when heeled and when in storm conditions.
