Overview

The Bayliner 289 classic provides value for the dollar, with an asking price of $34,900 and a long list of options including a generator, autopilot and air conditioning.  She also offer roomy accommodations, sleeps 6 in two berths, one forward and one aft plus a fold down dinette located mid-cabin.  She has a full galley and 4-seat dinette, a bad weather stopping hard-top and solid windshield, with wiper.  This 289 Classic has a large cockpit that is set up for 4x fishing rods with 4x rod holders. This cockpit works equally well if you just want to relax, lounge around and enjoy the day. The high-gunwale of the cockpit keeps small children very safe and enclosed. Sporting a 350 HP engine she works very well as a skiing boat, fishing boat, weekender or a Chesapeake Bay cruiser for you and your family.  The single engine MerCruiser I/O is set up so you can be in very shallow water with only 18" of draft needed.

This fuel efficient engine package offers the best in performance while offering the maximum fuel economy with 13 ghp @ 25 MPH and 1.2 gph @ 6 MPH.  The generator and A/C-heat extend the season you are enjoying and can extend your cruising and sleeping time aboard in creature comfort. The autopilot makes long and short trips effortless by steering you to your destination.

Since its first year of ownership, this 289 has been lift kept and still has the original bottom paint. She has been washed/waxed monthly by a professional detailers and has been mechanically maintained and winterized by a certified MerCrusier boat mechanic, and has been shrink-wrapped during the winters. The engine internals have been kept salt-free by very consistent use of the Neutra-Salt engine rinsing system after each use.  This regular care keeps this boat in near-new condition particularly when compared to other vessels of the same age.  The gelcoat shines and the soft goods and vinyl seats are in great condition.  You will find her in excellent mechanical and proper operational condition.
