Manufacturer Provided Description

The Oceanis 381 is a performance sailing yacht which corresponds well to Beneteau's philosophy on cruising. The standard mainsail is roller furling.The furling drum for the genoa is positioned above the deck so that the area around the windlass is uncluttered. The shroud chainplates are well centered, guaranteeing an efficient sheeting angle while making it easier to move around the sidedecks, and the primary (self-tailing) winches are within arm's reach of the helmsman. The large cockpit has a steering wheel console, a table with flaps and lockers, mainsail track moved forward on the coachroof, molding for the extra wide sprayhood (option), sunbathing area forward, and a recessed windlass in the large anchor well.  Owner's version with two large double cabins and L-shaped galley to starboard.  Comfortable saloon for 6 to 8 people with natural lighting and ventilation systems. The cabinetry is in cherry stained mahogany and the lockers are fitted with cane work doors. The head compartment has a marine toilet, shower, and hot and cold pressurized water and forward head.
