Manufacturer Provided Description
The Oceanis 48 is a full-size yacht which boasts an expansive cockpit and wide open interior, all in understated luxury: design, space and seamlessly integrated functionality, with beautiful details and finish options.
Anchor: Manson Supreme approximate 60 pound spade-style
The rig was inspected aloft and all terminations, turnbuckles, and attachment points were secure and free of
obvious defects. Exposed terminations (headstay fittings not fully sighted) did not show swage cracking (or
other obvious defects) upon hand magnification. Spreaders were securely attached at their inboard ends and
upper shrouds properly captivated outboard. All components at the masthead were secure and in good order
except as noted. The VHF radio antenna base was bent and antenna loose and it didn’t appear that the antenna
was a proper match to the base. The antenna was temporarily secured with tie wraps at time of survey. Mast
lighting consisted of anchor, steaming and foredeck floodlights. All lights were operational. Cosmetically, the
spar was in generally very good condition. Miscellaneous spar hardware consisted of Windex manual wind
direction indicator, cylindrical radar reflector, wind sender, fiberglass VHF antenna, radar scanner, flag halyard,
spinnaker halyard, standard topping lift, kick-up vang and telescoping aluminum whisker pole on mast heel
track.
