INTERIOR DESCRIPTION |
Upon boarding ZITA, guests enter the yacht through a formal side entrance into a grand foyer of high gloss cherry wood and Potoro marble floors. They are greeted by an original bronze statue, beautifully lit up by fibre optic lighting. Large open spiral staircases lead from the foyer to both the upper and lower decks, lit up by fibre optic stair lighting. A large alabaster overhead light illuminates the guest cabin foyer below. Lalique crystal wall panels enclose subtle wall lights. Access to the main deck powder room is off the foyer. |
Enter the main lounge, with a wide, open floor-plan that includes a formal seating area aft with a large bar and a card table area forward. The wood, as it is throughout the boat, is a fantastic high-gloss cherry and burl. The ceilings throughout the boat are an oyster coloured suede and satin lacquer. Potoro marble lines the bar and side tables while the carpet is a medium charcoal grey. Four large windows, of approximately 3m x 1.2m frame the lounge and are lined with sheer black silk plissé blinds that can be closed for privacy or opened to let in the beautiful views. The formal seating area is furnished with 2 flint mohair sofas and 1 matching arm chair as well as 2 armchairs in light steel coloured chenille. An exquisite Lalique crystal coffee table is the highlight of the room and accented by two Lalique sconces for ambient lighting. Access to the aft deck is through automatic sliding glass doors near the bar. |
A walnut card table with burl inlays is surrounded by 6 arm chairs in perforated black leather. Two walnut armchairs with satin oyster coloured leather seats and backrests make up the rest of the seating area. |
The Master Cabin |
Enter the master suite by walking forward of the foyer. Enter through the master’s study, a beautiful and practical area for quiet thought and work. While sitting at the cherry wood desk with grey leather top and chair, one can gaze out of a big beautiful window to the sights of the Mediterranean. Several beautiful bookshelves and closets provide storage in the study. |
Walk up a few stairs into the Master bedroom, a spectacular retreat with 180 degree views of the yacht’s surroundings through its full beam windows. ZITA’s master bed is custom built to a larger size and adorned in an elegant charcoal bedspread with taupe stitching with a matching charcoal velvet headboard. One can lie in bed and have a full panoramic view of the Mediterranean or close the black silk plissé blinds and light grey sheer silk curtains for more privacy. Backlit Lalique sconces provide ambient lighting. The highlight of the Master suite is the automatic sliding glass door that leads to a private sun bed and breakfast dining area outdoors. |
His bath is adorned with a Potoro marble vanity and floor, a large onyx shower and a separate room for the toilette. A large window over the vanity brings in natural light while looking in the mirror. Bathroom fixtures are simply elegant made in satin finish stainless steel. |
Her bath is yet another retreat. Potoro marble floors, vanity and satin finish fixtures compliment his bathroom. A large onyx bathtub lies along the port side with 2 sets of windows – sliding frosted glass windows that let light in but insure privacy open up to sheer glass windows that take in the scenery in secluded anchorages. |
The cabin has outstanding storage space with many drawers and closets, including a walk-in closet for Madame complete with windows and full-length mirrors. |
The Lower Deck |
Walk down the elegantly lit spiral staircase to the lower deck which holds the guest cabins. The large foyer introduces the Mystique marble on its large side table. Two identical queen cabins are located aft and two twin cabins are located forward. |
The queen cabins are decorated with exquisite espresso coloured bedspreads and matching leather headboards. Three large portholes in each cabin bring in the natural light. Black silk blinds and sheer truffle coloured curtains can be pulled for sleeping and privacy. In addition to overhead lighting each cabin has 2 alabaster sconces and reading lights. |
Large bathrooms that run the width of the cabin are adorned with Mystique marble vanities and floors, satin finish stainless fixtures and Breccia (off-white) marble showers. |
Each twin cabin is outfitted with a single and a full bed. The beds are covered in taupe coloured bedspreads with matching leather headboards. Black silk plissé blinds and truffle coloured curtains can be drawn over the two portholes or left open for natural light. Alabaster sconces and reading lamps provide ambient lighting as another alternative to the overhead lighting. The bathrooms have Mystique marble vanities and floors, Breccia marble showers and satin finish stainless fixtures. |
The Upper Deck |
Proceed up the spiral stairs from the foyer to come to the upper deck. Forward from the upper foyer is the bridge and aft is the lounge and main dining area. Unique to ZITA, the floors on the upper deck are made of African Wengé wood laid in a parquet pattern. |
The upper lounge is a perfect entertaining area. The bar is Potoro marble with satin oyster leather barstools. A pantry area behind the bar leads downstairs to the galley for convenient, out-of the way service by the crew. The sofas are storm grey with three dark brown pony-hair ottomans and the coffee tables are walnut. The ceilings on the upper deck are oyster suede and high gloss oyster lacquer. Large windows on either side of the lounge allow spectacular views. |
The powder room off the upper foyer has Bardillo Imperiale marble walls and Wengé wood floors with stainless inlaid borders. A polished stainless sink sits in a glass vanity and a porcelain toilette completes the space. |
One of ZITA’s highlights is its interior/exterior dining area which lies just aft of the lounge. A large round walnut dining table with burl inlay is surrounded by twelve dining chairs with black leather seats and black python back rests. Three-quarters of the room is enclosed in automatic sliding glass doors that retract into the walls for outside dining on beautiful days and evenings and close for indoor dining on cooler nights. For privacy the windows are dressed in two different shades of cream sheer linen curtains. |
