Overview

Nice Brewer's design "Jason 35" double ender. Long term blue water cruiser, well-maintained, original owner. Written up in Ferenc Mate's book "Best Boats". Safe, secure off-shore boat. Very comfortable for passage-making or just coastal cruising and exploring the islands.  Well-equipped and set up for easy single-handing. Aft cockpit, tiller steered. Wind vane self-steering plus electronic autopilot. Water maker, radar, SSB.  Layout - V-bunks, head, dinette/settee, galley, sit down nav table, quarter berth. Extensive storage throughout!  Hull solid fiberglass, barrier coated. Internal lead ballast. Keel-hung rudder.  Her auxiliary power is a 1997 42-HP Westerbeke four-cylinder diesel with a 5-1/2 knot cruise at 0.7 GPH.  Keel-stepped mast. All standing and running rigging replaced 2008. Also new lifelines and stern rail.  All sails UK - roller genoa, self-tending staysail, slab-reef main. Maxwell VWR1200 vertical electric windlass. Reversible at full power - serves both anchors.
45 # CQR 110' 5/16 high test 300' 5/8 nylon.
22# Danforth 110' 5/16" high test 300' 3/4" nylon.
Force 10 kerosene cabin heater.
