Overview
AVA-L is a classically styled flush deck Burger built in 1999 for an experienced owner. She has an exquisite American Cherry Wood interior and is also one of the quietest running Burgers ever built.
Overview
A traditional yet unmistakably late model design by Burger that turns heads in every port. Extensive application of new technology in sound control and other innovations have set the standard in modern yacht building, while maintaining a classic look. Among other features, this vessel was the first Burger to implement the B.A.S.I.C.S. (Burger Automated Ship's Information & Control System) and the A.M.P.S. (Automated Managed Power System),Sealed Oil Bath Shaft Systems, an Automated Fuel Management System, a centralized Constant-pressure Raw Water Cooling System and an Advanced Vibration Absorption/Acoustics Attenuation System.
Beyond the technical side, the American cherry wood interior aboard represents some of the fines joiner work detail ever produced by the Burger Boat Company.

Accommodations
Sleeps six persons in three double staterooms, with his and hers heads in the master stateroom and ensuite heads in both guest staterooms. There are two double crew staterooms and a crew lounge forward with two separate heads and showers. The interior is finished in exquisitely crafted, raised panel, American cherry wood cabinetry, including carved cherry crown moldings and match sequenced veneers on all bulkheads. There is a light stain on the cherry woodwork which is then sealed with a satin finish and accented with a palette of richly colored fabrics and elegant fixtures throughout.
Galley
There is plenty of butler pantry storage built-in outboard of the companionway, opposite the galley. A nice touch, the swinging door into the galley is fitted with a small, beveled window for checking traffic before opening. The galley is U-shaped, with white Corian counter tops and raised panel cherry cabinets. The galley floor is off-white marble with inlaid granite squares.

This vessel features all ocean electrical capability. At the center of the system is the Burger
A.M.P.S. SYSTEM. Coupled to the vessel's AC distribution system, the AMPS system provides
seamless, automatic transfer from shore power to generator in the event of a shore power failure. In addition equipped with an Atlas Power Conversion system, along with an Atlas Smart Box. Provided there is sufficient shore power, this supplies 60 cycle 100 amp 3 phase power to the vessel regardless of the input. Shore power can be supplied to the yacht from the bow or the stern as required. Engine starting is 24 volt and there are two 24 volt battery banks. Generators are 24 volt, again with dedicated 24 volt battery banks. There is a separate 12 volt battery and automatic charging system for shipboard navigation electronics.
