(LOCATION: Boca Raton FL) The Daytona 38 Sportfish is a classic sportfisherman with comfortable accommodations. This is a two stateroom fisherman with enclosed helm and spacious cockpit. Interested in fishing, diving, or cruising? This beauty is ready to accommodate. The hull is constructed of double-planked mahogany covered with fiberglass for an excellent trolling sound signature.

The flybridge features bimini, enclosure, centerline helm station, twin helm chairs, guest seating and tuna tower. The helm features a full complement of electronics including: Simrad AP20 autopilot, Ritchie 4" compass, Standard Horizon CP300 GPS chartplotter, Furuno FCV582 fish finder, Icom ICM 412 VHF radio, Data Marine depth sounder, Sea 235 single side band radio, Aquatronics MS 1550 CD, and Standard Horizon Nova VHF radio.

The large cockpit gives you more than enough work space, and includes cockpit awning, prep station with sink, fighting chair, transom door, outriggers, rod holders, saltwater wash down, transom door, and a cockpit freezer. Side decks lead forward to a foredeck that includes stainless steel bow rail and bow pulpit with anchor and windlass.

The interior is large, open, comfortable, and air conditioned. There's lots of room to relax after a day of fishing and discuss the ones that got away while enjoying a cold beverage. The open salon has a convertible dinette, sofa, and entertainment center with TV. Forward is a full galley open to the salon.

For overnight and extended fishing trips there are two staterooms. The master stateroom is forward with V-berth, hanging locker, bulkhead storage, TV, and accent lighting. The head compartment has electric head with holding tank, mirrored vanity, and shower. The guest stateroom has upper and lower berths. Lots of room and first class accommodations makes the fishing and cruising all the more enjoyable.

Performance is provided by a Detroit Diesel engine generating 650 horsepower. She is a good-looking, well-equipped sport fisherman with tons of room.
