Overview

SWIFTCURRENT is an excellent example of this popular and well respected cruising yacht, from the folks at Grand Banks Yachts.  The current owner is the second owner and he has cared for the vessel with a somewhat open checkbook policy.   She's been kept in a fresh water moored boat house since 2010.  Her original owner kept her in fresh water moorage, in Seattle.

She features the three stateroom layout with the galley on the salon deck.  There is still plenty of quality cruising time left this season, plus she is equipped for four season family adventures. Put her on your viewing list today!

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Grand Banks 46 Classic is the perfect size for many cruising families. She offers plenty of interior space, and yet remains easily manageable for a crew of two. This 46 offers two forward staterooms with a galley-up, providing extra space in the main saloon. Running the boat from the flybridge, the captain has superb visibility and total command of the ship thanks to the carefully planned steering and navigational area. Wide, walk-around decks and aft cockpit allow for the crew's safe, secure movement while at sea and during docking. In the large cockpit lazarette, in the seat lockers, on the aft cabin roof, and in the forward deck locker, are places for fenders, cleaning supplies, a dinghy, an outboard motor, power cables, dock lines, and more. In the saloon, comfortable seat lockers and a built-in teak table create a friendly and secure atmosphere underway or at anchor. The main saloon offers a panoramic view. An inside steering and navigational station provides a comfortable, dry haven for the helmsperson. The large owner's aft cabin can be arranged either with two seagoing berths or with a walkaround, queen-sized bed. The engine room, with over five-feet of headroom, has ample space for the generator, refrigeration compressor, and optional air conditioning equipment. Many owners have installed water makers, inverters, extra generators and other optional accessories in the large, well thought-out engine room.  Cruising speeds range from 8 to 14 knots with top speeds to 15 knots.
