Overview

Golden Girl is a 2014 Greenline 33 with less than 500 hours in her Volvo diesel engine and in great condition. Golden Girl is a single owner 33 and the only one in the USA with the reliable Volvo D3 EVC 220 HP with its comprehensive service network. Slightly used, this single owner boat has been well maintained and represents a unique opportunity to acquire one of these very desirable cruisers at an excellent price.

Over 425 Greenline 33’s have been sold worldwide since their introduction ten years ago, making it the most popular model of the Greenline family. With her super displacement hull and a Volvo D3-220 HP EVC Diesel tops out at 18 knots and can have a range of close to 400 nautical miles at 10 knots! With built-in stabilizer fins, she exhibits minimal roll. Built to the CE Design Category “B”, she is certified for conditions of up to 40 knots and waves up to 13 feet.

The master stateroom has a queen-sized berth with abundant natural light. A full-size head has access from both the Master and salon. The Salon  has an almost 360-degree view. The interior is finished in a light cherry finish which nicely complements the very comfortable, cream colored faux leather furniture. The double helm seat ingeniously flips creating a four person sofa with additional seating for three in the opposite couch. The convertible settee in the salon can also be made into an extra double berth for guests while the port couch serves as another single.  A stand up 10 cubic foot refrigerator and freezer, propane stove, and propane oven will let you create delicious meals while enjoying the open spaces in the cockpit. There is plenty of storage space inside the salon, while the lazarette under the cockpit is a big open space. With its one level design, the aft galley that opens to the cockpit and her drop down electric transom, Golden Girl has more usable space than other much larger boats.

Golden Girl is well equipped for cruising the PNW.  Her forced air Webasto diesel heater keeps the cabin, head and salon warm and dry while underway or at anchor all year around. Her excellent complement of navigation electronics with GPS plotter, radar and autopilot will guide your passages in a safe and comfortable manner. A bow thruster makes docking a breeze while the electric windlass will allow you to anchor with ease. The cantilever davit system with electric winch makes launching the tender a simple matter and boarding and loading of the tender is very safe with the stern platform in the down position.

A unique feature of Golden Girl is its fully integrated solar panel array of 1.8 kW which keeps her house batteries fully charged while cruising and at anchor. Designed from the outset to be an environmentally conscious boat, all the lights are LED’s, and her main appliances are low powered 12 VDC. When properly managed all the power needs are met by its house battery bank and no need for a generator!

Golden Girl will cost less to own than comparable vessels.  Her electrical system obviates the need for a generator. The Volvo diesel is extremely efficient and at trawler speeds she will reach over 3 NM/gallon. Yet if needed she can cover long distances very quickly. Finally, her compact 32’8” LOA translates to savings due to being able to be docked at smaller slips (35’ or 36’).

Golden Girl will be the perfect cruiser for a broad range of boating enthusiasts. Those that are starting boating or are moving to a larger boat, a young family with small children, or senior couples that want to transition away from sailing or large trawler yachts, will find Golden Girl to be the perfect cruiser.
