Overview

RECENT PRCE REDUCTION. This proven bluewater cruiser has completed a transatlantic trip from Norway and is now in Fort Pierce, Florida.   In preparation for this trip in 2016, the vessel was given  new North sails, new electronics, solar panels, liferaft, many spares and tools.  New Volvo engine and new saildrive, only 360 hours was installed in the islands.
The standing rigging changed 2012. 

"Paloma" is a safe and comfortable passagemaker.   On deck you will find a spacious cockpit that has a bimini shade and a hard windshield. Engine access in cockpit sole and cabin, lazerette storage lockers, wheel at pedestal and stern tiller steering, new autopilot and Raymarine GPS with wifi connection, AIS.  New sails and running rigging with lines leading to cockpit. Mast steps and SS grab rails.  Full inventory of safety equipment.

The interior is dry and comfortable with rich teak joinery.  The galley is to port with the navigation desk and quaterberth opposite.   The salon features double sided settees with a drop leaf centerline dining table.  Both settees have a flip up backrest to provide a large seaberth and stowage behind.  Abundant provisioning room in many cabinets and lockers.   There is a wood burning heater on the bulkhead.  Going forward you pass thru a two sided sink and head compartment which leads to the private V berth with insert.  Opening hatches, dorade vents and opening ports provide good ventilation.

The hull is solid fiberglass with divinicell cored decks, teak was removed and decks sealed and painted with non-skid.  Encapsulated modified fin keel with a skeg hung rudder.
