Overview

A meticulously well maintained mile munching blue water yacht from the world renowned Hallberg-Rassy yard. With a great spec and no stone left unturned from a maintenance point of view, BLUE MOOSE truly is a turnkey blue water cruising option.

Broker's Comments

The Hallberg-Rassy 40 is a blue water cruising yacht of the highest quality, with beautiful lines and an impeccable finish throughout. BLUE MOOSE has been meticulously maintained by her current owners and it shows. Every detail has been maintained to the highest order and this coupled with her fantastic spec has ensured that BLUE MOOSE is a serious turnkey blue water cruising option.

Owner's Comments

BLUE MOOSE was the launch boat for the Hallberg-Rassy 40 in Germany. She was little used by her first owner and well looked after, being stored indoors in winter. When we purchased her in 2007 there were only 69 hours on her engine and the original packaging was still in place in the cooker. During our ownership we have mainly sailed as a couple in the Solent and English Channel. This year we retired and did a longer cruise to Holland. We have very much enjoyed Blue Moose and always felt very reassured by her sea handling capabilities, even in heavy weather. She has an astonishing amount of storage space, which we are struggling to match in possible next boats.
