Overview

The last of the sisterhood to launch from VT Halmatic, she has a widget list that many larger yachts would envy to go with those good looks from Dixon and clever design ideas.

Broker's Comments

The Moody 56 is an evergreen cruising yacht from Bill Dixon which offers great sailing and a very clever layout inside and out. Built by VT Halmatic to a very high standard, she is one of the last of her kind to launch. She has been skipped maintained and is ready to sail. BETA OF AUNE has recently had a Berthon refresh and she is gleaming.  Please go to the back of this specification to see recent shots of the yacht after this refresh.   She has also been substantially reduced in price.

History

56’ Moody. Built in 2006, she was the last one ever built and as such comes with all the extras. BETA OF AUNE was built at Halmatic and not Marine Projects like her predecessors, the build standard, quality and finish set new benchmarks, and as such the retail value of the ‘new’ 56 was significantly higher than any previous 56. Every box ticked on the spec means she is ready for extended cruising around the world. Generous accommodation and living space with a cabin fore and aft and side cabins to allow for passage making with children and guests. Very few yachts of this size offer the versatility of a Moody 56.  She has been skipper maintained since launch.
