Overview

Section 37 is a sturdy, pedigreed yacht with five owners’ and guests’ cabins; four heads; a spacious on-deck galley; an additional lower-deck galley services and pantry area; a huge fly bridge and dinghy deck; full function fishing cockpit; and a strong list of mechanical equipment and special features. The cockpit extension on these fine Hatteras yachts has proven to be very popular and Hatteras added this cockpit as part of the original construction process, along with auxiliary fuel tanks and fuel management system.

The interior of this 85’ Hatteras was highly customized for the original client, an International Luxury Goods provider, and has a very nostalgic New York city piano bar theme, including piano bar, highly customized lighting linked to the stereo system and a lighted dance floor (currently carpeted).

The current owner of 14 years has upgraded the galley, some systems and electronics, and re-configured the forward crew area to galley and laundry services area plus two guest cabins and a shared head. Due to a change of lifestyle and lack of use, the owner has made Section 37 available for offers. Seller is open to negotiations for survey findings.

Section 37’s stunning salon was original built and decorated for the Fabergé Company in New York City. Rich with details and sexy curved lines this salon offers a New York “Piano Bar/Disco” theme complete with an impressive entertainment and disco lighting equipment and a dance floor with inlayed lighting (currently under carpet). The central piano styled bar (with actual electric piano) serves the entertaining purposes of live music and drink service. Two curved settees aft and another forward, along with plenty of chairs and stools and dinning table offer very flexible entertaining and socializing settings.

Master Stateroom

Full beam owner’s stateroom features a king-size “island” berth, large hanging lockers and numerous drawers for storage. The large head with shower/tub is to starboard with an adjacent vanity forward. Elaborate lighting and “New York” stylized art wall carry the Piano Bar theme of the salon down to this luxurious master cabin.

VIP Guest Staterooms

Aft of the Master stateroom Section 37 offers two VIP Guest cabins; one to starboard with a queen-size bed and ensuite head with shower and another to port with tein bunks. A large head with shower is located just forward to port and also serves as the common “day head”.

Forward Guest Cabins

The typical Hatteras “crew quarters” forward has been upgraded to two additional guest cabins with a large storage and domestic services area. The double bed cabin to port and the twin bunk cabin to starboard share a common head and shower in the forepeak. Aft of these two cabins is the large storage area equipped with an expansive counter-top, laundry washer and dryer and two additional drawer style refrigerators.
