Overview
Good looking boat with a long foredeck and distinctive stepped sheer, the 48 Hi-Star is built on a modified-v hull. A stable ride and a large cockpit this boat is built for serious fishing and diving activities with a standard transom door. Extras wide side decks and a large fly bridge she is a dream to get around. She has a spacious two stateroom layout with a hand rubbed teak interior and the galley and dinette on a single level and separated by a stylish drum style serving counter. Wrap around cabin windows provide plenty of natural light and the Master Stateroom situated on the centerline forward has a queen island berth and guest stateroom furnish with over under berths. Powered with a pair of Caterpillar 3208TA diesels rated at 375 HP she will cruise at 19-20 knots and tops out at 22 knots. Neat and clean she is ready to go at an extremely attractive price.
Accommodations
The large cockpit leads into a spacious salon and galley on the same level. The lower helm is to starboard and a serving counter is to port between the galley and salon. A loveseat and convertible sofa bed highlight the bright salon.
Two staterooms are forward: a spacious master stateroom with custom centerline queen, dressing table and large head; and a guest stateroom to port with upper and lower berths. The guest head is to starboard and a space saving arrangement allows it to share a shower with the master head. The salon and Master Stateroom have been re-carpeted. Neat and orderly she is ideal for extended stays and lengthy journeys.
