Overview
The popularity of the Surfhunter 25 generated interest in a larger version, one with a bit more capacity and length, for longer open-water crossings and cozy overnighting. The Surfhunter 29 is more generous in cockpit and accommodations, offering standing headroom below decks, as well as an enclosed head with shower. The focus is clearly on the bridge deck area, with fully enclosed and protected seating for five, and a great helm.
TENSEGRITY III is possibly the best-cared-for Surfhunter 29 we have seen come to market, and she is very well equipped to boot. The pride of her original ownership is evident everywhere. Her black topsides (recently Awlgripped and clearcoated at Hunt/Hinckley), white boot stripe and green bottom, along with Moondust contrasting non-skid and matching tan canvas and cushions, look sharp and set the boat apart.
Most of the boat’s usage has been seasonal in New England with indoor winter storage, however she has been lift-kept and fresh water flushed after each use for the past two years in South Carolina.
TENSEGRITY III has a quiet and economical gas inboard engine and stern drive, with bow thruster for shallow water options and maneuverability around the dock.
Incredibly well maintained by original owners and the first time offered, this is a must see!
