INTRODUCTION

LEAP OF FAITH is an excellent example of the popular Hylas 46, which features a roomy cockpit designed for easy sailing, lots of deck storage, a huge galley with extensive storage space and a spacious aft cabin with centerline queen. She is very well equipped for safe, extended cruising and has benefited greatly from recent upgrades, including new generator, electronics, batteries, water maker, refrigeration, air conditioning, sails, life raft, barrier coat and much more. She has been winter-stored every year since new, with limited summertime use. A “must see” for anyone looking for a super value in this size range.

ACCOMMODATIONS

LEAP OF FAITH sleeps four owners and guests in two staterooms plus two settee berths, for a total of six berths.

Finely crafted teak joinerwork finished to a high level throughout the interior. Cabin soles are teak and holly with a high-gloss finish. Upholstery is blue Ultrasuede throughout. Oceanair hatch screens and blinds in staterooms. Hanging lockers lined with cedar.

GUEST STATEROOM:

Beginning forward is a private stateroom with large double berth to port with settee and significant storage space with hanging locker to starboard. An ensuite head and shower is forward with numerous storage lockers.

MAIN SALON:

The main salon is quite spacious for a vessel of this size, due to her generous beam. A large circular settee with expandable dining table is to port with a slide-out center settee to provide comfortable seating for six. A full-length settee to starboard can be extended for use as a double berth. There are several other lockers customized for specific storage. The entire space feels light and open due to numerous hatches, deck port lights and two hull windows.

NAV STATION:

Aft and to port is an outboard-facing navigation station with easy access to the cockpit. There are built-in switch panels, navigation instruments and a swing-out pedestal chair. The L-shaped workspace also includes a lift-up computer desk.

GALLEY:

Further aft and to starboard is a long walk-through galley with exceptional counter space. There are several well-thought-out storage lockers for glass, dinnerware and appliances.

  • Separate top and front-opening refrigerator and freezer compartments
  • Force 10 three-burner propane stove with oven
  • Twin stainless sinks with retractable faucet
  • Manual fresh and salt water

MASTER STATEROOM:

The owner's private stateroom is located aft and features a large queen sized berth on centerline with a small settee to starboard and storage area to port. Extended beam is carried well aft to create a spacious, open cabin accentuated by twin hull port lights, several opening portholes and a large deck hatch. A private head with separate shower stall is found along the port side.
