GENERAL REMARKS

For the past twelve years Balaju has been looked after by the same captain and a diligent professional crew.  She has always been well cared for and maintained to Commercial LY3 standards.  She recently had new exterior cushions and interior fabrics installed where needed, some exterior paint was done in 2015, and two brand new 125 Kw gens were installed on July 2019.  She completed her ABS 15 year survey in May 2017 along with new bottom paint. She offers reliable trans-oceanic capability,  having completed 14 crossings with her current owner.  Over the years Balaju has enjoyed a reputation as a successful charter boat from New England to the Med.  Her owner purchased a substantially larger yacht, and wants this one sold as soon as possible.

Engines: Two Caterpillar 3508B 1335 HP (970 kW 1835rpm) Engine Hours: 1,500 hours since top-end overhaul completed in 2016. Next Caterpillar required service is not due for another 6,000 hours.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Guest Accommodations:
The on-deck owner’s suite is full beam with a king-size bed, spacious study, dressing room and full-beam bath.  There are four guest cabins with ensuite baths on the lower deck.  Two have king beds and two with twins. All are well-appointed.

Crew Accommodations:
The Captain’s cabin has a double bed and en-suite bath, with a large separate office.  Crew accommodations for eight are forward on the lower deck. There are two ensuite twin cabins, and two twin cabins sharing one large bath.  The crew mess is very spacious and accommodates the full complement.
