Overview

MALA is the ideal boat for performance cruising, offshore racing and shorthanded sailing – the “no compromise” J/133C. She was built for a very knowledgeable sailor who had her customized for optimized sailing performance and ease of handling. Unlike her sisterships, she has no bow sprit, a custom carbon mast set up for non-overlapping jibs and a custom interior that features increased storage and a main salon pilot berth.

Perfect for a Bermuda race or extended cruising, she has a diesel generator, dinghy davits, increased water tankage, electric halyard winch and an extensive electronics inventory – other features that separate her from standard J/133’s.

A proven thoroughbred, she placed third in her class in the 2006 Newport to Bermuda Race. Loaded with equipment, she is now ready for her new owner to enjoy.
