Bait prep and rigging stations, washdown, rod holders, rocket launchers, and a complete package of Coast Guard approved safety equipment will get you out to the bluewater action without a lot of extra cost.
The purpose of the fuel system is to maintain the necessary supply of fuel to the engines and generator upon demand and as needed. The fuel system on your boat is comprised of the following components or systems, which will be described separately:
Fuel Tank
Your Luhrs 31 Open is equipped with 2 fuel tanks, having a capacity of 300 gallons. One is noted as being the port tank and the other is the starboard tank, these are labeled according to the engine they supply fuel to.
The fuel tanks are equipped with a fuel level sending units; which provides an electrical signal to the fuel gauge located at the helm, to indicate the fuel level.
The port tank is the tank forward of the engines and the starboard tank is the tank located in the bilge between the engines.
Batteries
The DC System derives its power from a battery in the Lazarette area, A circuit breaker near the battery switch (located fwd of the batteries on the bulkhead) connects the battery to the electrical system. The battery supplies power to the DC control on the Main Distribution Panel (MDP) in the main cabin. From this panel, power is distributed to such equipment as cabin lights, instruments, and accessories.
Entertainment Centers
The entertainment centers in the berthing areas of your boat are 12 volt DC powered. The power is supplied through the MDP, the television is AC powered, the stereo is DC powered.
Bilge Pump Systems
The Luhrs 28 Open is equipped with 3 bilge pumps and one emergency bilge pump.

The fresh and raw water systems consist of the following components:
Water Tanks
The fresh water system on the Luhrs 28 open has two water tanks and two fresh water fills located in the lazarette area on the port and starboard sides. The vent is located on each side of the hull. A water line connects the tank to the fresh water pump. The pump is located in the Lazarette area.
Sanitation Systems
