Overview

In the summer of 2012 David Marlow and his design team in Alachua, FL began designing four new trawler models including the Marlow Pilot 32. Building upon some of the design ideas that came from the Mainship brand coupled with many new and innovative ideas and techniques added from David Marlow’s success with his Marlow Yacht brand, the new Marlow Pilots are simply stunning.

From the high tech offshore capable construction of Nida-Core to replace balsa-core, Kevlar added along with stitched FRP fabrics, vinyl ester resins and the elimination of the chopper gun from the construction process to create better glass to resin ratios, the new Marlow Pilots are proving themselves with a resurgence back into the trawler market.

Technologies developed by Marlow are being integrated to allow classification to high international standards, far exceeding minimum criteria described or imposed by regulatory authorities worldwide. This new line of Marlow trawlers with others in development now will challenge all similar products in value, capability, performance, seaworthiness and quality with the mission statement to “Build Simply The Best”.
