VESSEL WALK THROUGH

Descending the companionway stairs – the Galley is to Starbd, and Nav station is immediately to Port

A companion way runs aft on the Port side o the Aft cabin.  Within the companionway a Settee is along the Hull with a fold down work bench and tool storage above.  Engine room access is also long this companionway with double doors entering the engine room

Forward into the Salon is the Dinette to Starbd, and a full-length Settee to Port

Continuing forward is the forward head with both access to the Salon as a day head, and access to he forwards cabin.  The Guest cabin is forward of the head

Construction

Fiberglass construction with white hull and deck and fiberglass nonskid; modified keel configuration with skeg-hung rudder. Deck configuration includes two deep lazarette lockers aft, and separate companionway aft to aft cabin. Exterior trim is varnished teak including full length teak toe rails; heavy duty teak rub rail with bronze cap.

Broker Comments

The Morgan 462 has a great reputation as a solid cruiser. Designed by Henry Scheel a . s the Scheel 45', the design progressed through several changes before becoming the Morgan 46'. The 462 is a ketch (30,000 lbs) with a displacement hull, molded-in keel and good seakeeping abilities. 

This center cockpit ketch is reputed to be a fast,

 dry windward cruiser with good off wind performance. The two staterooms, two head layouts can accommodate seven adults in three double berths and one single. Her aft walkthrough area has been converted to a huge storage cabinet with workbench.

 

This vessel is a proven Blue Water cruiser, having crossed the Atlantic, cruised throughout Europe, and re-crossed the Atlantic to cruise the Caribbean - She awaits her next adventure.
