Construction 

Hull is in "single skin" hybrid glass/aramid fibre with polyester reinforced laminates  

A high proportion of the fibres are unidirectional, giving a stiff laminate with excellent strength and fatigue properties. Structural bulkheads are of plywood laminated to hull and deck with foam strips between. Stiffener flanges are unidirectional lay-ups over foam cores. 

Engine bed is GRP with steel reinforcements

All joinery work is done in accordance with the best yacht practice, using first-grade materials.  

Teak with hand rubbed satin finish is used for all visible woodwork.

Floorboards with laid teak veneer, providing access to the bilge.  

Quick pins provided for lifting the floorboards.

Perkins Sabre M 225 Ti (136 kW / 185 hp at 2500 rpm) 2,900 hours since rebuild in 2005 

Rebuilt 2005, when it was removed from the yacht, was fully re-manufactured and dyno-tested before being refitted.  When being re-manufactured, all major components were replaced, new pistons, lines, bearings, gaskets, oil seals, valve grinders, rocker shafts etc. as well as the major components being re-machined.
