Overview

RY 60 GTS: power and elegance

Following the request of a prestigious US client, the new flagship 60 GTS was born, emphasising its sporty spirit and superior propulsion.

The new flagship boasts the same sporty lines as her predecessor, harmony of proportions and combines functionality (which is typically North American) with sumptuous materials. A pure Made in Italy, 60 GTS shows quality, history, culture, style and art.

A tailor-made yacht that reflects the personal taste of the client, personality and uniqueness.

Some figures: 19 metres long, 4.80-meter beam, twin Caterpillar 1,000 HP engines, reaching a maximum speed of 36 knots, with a 30 gross tonnage. The hull features large glass surfaces, which fill the interior with abundant natural light, and sports iridescent grey and anthracite colours; the same chosen by the owner for his private jet.

From stern to bow: the very large bathing platform is equipped with a 1.20-metre-reach crane to launch a 4.40-metre tender.  The crew cabin, which is optional, can be accessed from stern and boasts direct access to the engine room. Aft, the yacht is equipped with a huge L-shaped sofa, ideal to sunbathe, a telescopic hydraulic awning and a concealable door that allows to separate the outside form the inside but, when necessary, disappears completely in the roof (a distinctive feature that RIO YACHTS boasts on many of its models). The deckhouse features a spacious dinette and a fully equipped helm station, boasting all the latest comforts and technologies.

The habitable deckhouse features a bimini and Esthec and glass flooring, flooding the interior with natural light.

The decor is characterized by the care for the smallest of details.  Antolini stones have been used throughout, for the bathrooms floors and walls, the table tops, the counter of the galley, the helm station console, the desk top and the surface tops in the master cabin. Additionally, the yacht features dark woods, soft lights, Armani Casa Textiles by Rubelli

The boat owner spared no expense, especially as far as equipment is concerned. The yacht boasts gyroscopic stabilizer, bow and aft propellers with joystick, 5 electrically controlled concealable televisions, a feature also boasted by the tables, large fridges, ice-maker, Esthec deck, side decks and cockpit, etc. Undoubtedly a fully equipped yacht.
