This Sabre 42 carried two sailors in style from Florida to the Eastern Caribbean and back on a recent two-year cruise. Her shallow draft (board up), allowed for peace of mind on the banks of the Bahamas and her ability to point well, (board down) allowed progress to windward into the Trade Winds. Rigged for easy single-handing, all control lines are led aft to the cockpit and her two reliable direct-drive autopilots steer true. In heavy seas, her fine entry alleviates pounding and makes for a comfortable and safe ride. Now equipped with a brand new Beta Marine diesel (with 2-year warranty) and she is ready for her next adventure.
