This 2002 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer is powered by the optional and desired  Twin T-VD 8.1 S Horizon MerCruiser and inboard V-Drive Transmissions.  Her more powerful engines when run at a modest cruising speed provide the fuel economy of the available smaller engines, because the more powerful engines don't have to work as hard.   However, when you need more power for larger passenger loads or more speed  this is the engine you will want.
