GENERAL

SANTANDREA is an adventure vessel built in Italy in 1961 as a coastal tug.  She was then converted in Ancona and refitted in Genoa in 1997.  She accommodates 8 guests in 4 cabins and her new 1500hp Caterpillar engine allows her to cruise for 5000 n.miles at the cruising speed of 8 knots.  Thanks to her 350t and 4,50m draft, she has an outstanding sea keeping. This is a very economical boat to run and to maintain thanks to her simple but welcoming marine decoration.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Master Stateroom

The Master stateroom is located on the Main Deck and is fitted with one double bed in alcove on port and a single bed on starboard. The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a nice large shower with teak, toilets and basin. The floor is fitted with thick and comfortable carpet.

VIP Cabin

The VIP Cabin is located on the aft of the Lower Deck. It is fitted with 2 single beds + 1 Pullman Bed on starboard side and a nice bathroom with toilets, shower and basin on portside. There is carpet on the floor.

Guests Cabins

There are 2 cabins on the front of the Lower Deck, which are absolutely identical. Both are fitted with bunk beds and have separate bathroom.

The starboard cabin ceiling is covered with Alcantara, whereas the port one, which is used as the captain’s cabin, is covered with plastic for easy maintenance. Both are laid out with carpet.

Main Saloon

In the Saloon there is a bar area and an L-shaped sofa, with a large coffee table that can be transformed into a dining table and two chairs portside.  Starboard is a cabinetry running full length of the saloon with TV.

Foyer

Opposite to the Owner cabin, portside to the galley, there is a staircase that leads up to the wheelhouse and down to the Guests cabins.  A door, in the corridor between the Foyer and the Main Salon, opens starboard to the side deck.

Aft deck

From the huge after deck that features a large sunbathing area covering the hydraulic gangway, there is a relax area for an aperitif with 4 large sofas and coffee table, all of them being fixed to the floor. Going fore there is a dining table for 8 and the access, through two doors, to the saloon. Portside a staircase leads up to the boat deck.

This area could be easily closed in order to obtain a winter salon usable whatever the weather and sea conditions are.

Upper Deck

Aft to the wheelhouse is a large sun deck that can be used for lunch or dinners even underway. There is an outdoor kitchen equipped with sink, electric burner, one fridge and two freezers and an icemaker.

Further aft there is the huge Main Aft Deck roof where are stored 2 big tenders served by a powerful crane.

Wheelhouse

The professional type wheelhouse is fitted with inclined windows and includes up-to-date navigation instruments as well as the telephone and communication center. This place is very efficient in the way that it provides a lot of volume and natural light and offers a very good view all around for a safe navigation.

The Wheelhouse is protected by a Gas HFC 227EA extinguishing system.

Sun Deck

On starboard there is a staircase leading up to a second sunbathing area, completely private for the Owners.

Galley

It is located on the Main Deck and is well equipped. It provides direct access to the Main Deck Salon as well as to the portside sideway for an efficient service to the Guests which are having lunch or dinner on the Main Aft Deck. One of the biggest assets of this World Cruising Yacht is the big Walk-In Fridge, allowing a big amount of storage of food and beverages, which limits the stock-up frequency and allows long distance travel.

Crew Accommodation

The crew area is located aft the boat, behind the engine room. There are 4 bunk beds in 4 cabins as well as a bathroom and toilets compartment. The whole area is air conditioned + washbasin for each.

Laundry

The laundry is located between the engine room and the crew area. It is equipped with one washing machine and one dryer.

Storage rooms

On the Lower Deck between the fore cabins and the VIP aft cabin, there are 1 wide storage compartments that allow having a huge reserve of food and useful items on board for long cruises.
