Tiara is a family run, Michigan-based company that has been building boats since the early 1950's. They were one of the first American boat builders to begin experimenting in fiberglass hulled boats and by 1963, no longer had wooden production boats.
The 44' Coupe Motor Yacht is a nice combination between the classic Tiara elements mixed with new innovations in technology and comfort. The hull is designed to cut through rough weather with ease while allowing for a comfortable, easy ride inside. NO MAS is an extremely well maintained boat that has low engine hours and factory warranty through 2020. Great opportunity for a low hour, well maintained warrantied boat!
Recent Work:
Entering the boat on either side of the cockpit through integrated gunwale steps allows for an easy step down from the dock into the boat for all guests. A large forward facing transom seat, and two rear facing single seats surround a teak cocktail table on the aft deck. A retractable sunshade can be extended over the whole cockpit to enjoy the outdoor weather with light rain and sun protection when needed. Stairs on either side of the transom lead from the cockpit to the oversized hydraulic swim platform. Here, you will find a hideaway electric grill and a hydraulic transom garage door to store deck equipment, snorkel/dive gear, toys, and anything else you may need for a great day on the water.
Two oversized sliding doors from the cockpit to the deckhouse provide for an almost seamless transition from the outside to the inside. The deckhouse is arranged in a way to promote more interaction between the guests with little separation between the salon, galley, and helm. Overhead is a power-operated sunroof that when opened, serves as a way to bring the outside in during nice days on the water. Large wrap around windows and the oversized aft glass sliding doors give guests onboard the feeling of being outside with amazing views in all directions. To the portside, an L-shaped settee surrounds a teak 2-leaf dining table all of which is slightly elevated to ensure guests maintain beautiful visibility while seated.
The galley is located aft of the helm on the starboard side of the salon maintaining the combined interaction of all guests. With the sliding salon glass doors open, you can still experience the outdoors and interact with outside guests while preparing a meal. The galley location also allows easy, convenient access to the electric grill located on the transom. Stored below the counter top is the over/under isotherm refrigeration and freezer, a convection microwave oven, and plenty of dry stowage compartments. A Kenyon 2 burner stove and a stainless steel sink are both recessed into the counter top with covers to each. Above the countertop is a cupboard for kitchenware stowage and to house the entertainment center away from any possible cooking spills. A pull out door from this above cupboard unveils the 29" LCD TV keeping the TV safe and secure while not in use.
Just across from the L-shaped salon settee is the helm station keeping the skipper involved in guest conversations while underway. A doublewide electric adjusting helm seat, Garmin electronic package on 2 side by side touch screens, and the IPS joystick control all within comfortable reach make for navigating this 44' Tiara a dream. The large wrap around windows is not only great for the beautiful views, but they make docking in tight spaces with the joystick control nice and easy.
Entrance into the engine room is down a latter located under a floor hatch in the aft cockpit. The engine room is very spacious with added storage for gear on either side of the motors. There is enough room to go around all sides of the motors making routine and preventative maintenance easier to handle for owner/operators. NO MAS is equipped with Volvo IPS600 motors that are under Tiara factory warranty until 2020. The IPS drives make for excellent handling while docking, and a top speed of 30 knots burning roughly 44 gallons per hour. New batteries and AC servicing were completed in May 2018.
