Overview

One of the lowest-priced Whitby 42's on the market! Come see her today!

"Mary Belinda" is a classic and tough Canadian-built center cockpit Whitby 42'. She has been cruised and loved by her current owners for years, but health reasons are forcing them to sell. These boats have a large following, for a good reason, and this is one of the lowest-priced on the market. She is a Ted Brewer design. Introduced in 1972, the Whitby 42 is his most commercially successful design. About 300 boats were built, and you will see them in cruising destinations all over the world.

Accommodations

There is good reason why Whitby 42's are sought-after cruising sailboats for families and couples. The walk-through center cockpit design creates a private aft cabin and head, while still remaining connected to the main living area. Moving forward through the walkway, there is extensive storage (great for a workshop area!) to starboard and a walk-in engine room with excellent access to port.

The nav station is to starboard, adjacent to the companionway for easy reach while underway. The secure u-shaped galley is to port, and from here the cabin opens up to a large living space with seating for 6 comfortably.

The forward head is located to port, and the roomy v-berth, which is a perfect setup for guests or kids to have their own space up forward.

While the layout is similar to other center-cockpit boats in this size range, the Whitby's lines and sturdy build set her apart from the rest. She is a beautifully appointed vessel that will turn heads and provide comfort and seaworthiness at the same time!

Broker's Note

This is a chance to own a Whitby 42 at a great price. Owners are selling due to health reasons, and are willing to consider any offers. Come see her!

She's located in Green Cove Springs Marina in Northeast Florida, which is a DIY boatyard with very reasonable rates and storage, as well as live-aboard facilities. So the setup is perfect--buy her, move aboard, and use the yard to get her in the exact condition you want her!

Solid boat, no blisters, freshly compounded hull, pretty lines.
