BAVARIA Yachtbau - the reliable German yachts

BAVARIA Yachtbau is a shipyard in Giebelstadt, occupying the area of 200,000 square meters. More than 70 thousand square meters are given for the production site. They make the hulls, do carpentry works, assemble the yachts. The shipyard has its own "assembly line": the elements of the future yacht are transported from one unit to another, from one line to another, until it is assembled on a central site.

The first yacht in BAVARIA Yachtbau was built in 1978. It was BAVARIA 807. It took a few years, and the shipyard made the most advanced production in Europe. The introduction of assembly lines became the European know-howt that was used for the first time by BAVARIA. It was here where the robots were applied for the first time.

For a long time the company was engaged only in the production of the sailboats. The first motor yacht were built in 2003. Now their share among the shipyard production is 40%.

The BAVARIA Yachtbau shipyard builds four series of sailboats: Vision Line, Cruiser Line, B/One, EASY 9.7. There are also the twin-hulled sailing boats - Nautitech, and motor boats - Virtess, Sport, New Sport.

Each yacht is subjected to testing in the test center in Marktbreit. Only those models that have been tested successfully, are available on the market.
