DESCRIPTION

ELENA is an exceptional classic Alden design, ex " ALESTRA". To date ELENA has had just three owners, all very knowledgeable and dedicated to maintaining her in YACHT CONDITION.

Easily sailed shorthanded, with furling Hood Stoway headsails, electric furling mainsail, electric primary winches, first-class electronics etc. Anchoring is a breeze with her windlass and ground tackle, and with a bow thruster for maneuvering in tight quarters making docking a breeze. Whether used as a comfortable cruiser on an ocean ready racing yacht, ELENA is the current all-around winner of the 2019 Block Island Race and 1st in region 2019 Marion Bermuda Race.

Beautiful varnished teak below deck joined with new interior fabrics with two private staterooms, two heads each with showers, large main salon, U-shaped galley, sit-down navigator's station, Luke soapstone fireplace, heat/AC and much more all contribute to making ELENA an outstanding offering.

Construction and equipment built under American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) survey to Class +A1 Offshore Yacht Service. This model is from the same hull series as the Alden 54.

Centerboard configuration offers a minimum draft of 5’-6” with board up and a maximum draft of 10’-4” with board down.
