Overview

A very highly spec'd example and well maintained of this quick little cruiser. With a great sail inventory and modern navigation systems, this truly is a turn key yacht.

Owner's Comments

I purchased FREESTYLE late in 2009 as a versatile craft suitable for family cruising and racing. Sails deck gear and accommodation were upgraded to suit. Subsequently the sail plan was modified to enhance the cruising characteristics so that she will cope under sail, whatever the weather and seas conditions.

Her sail wardrobe combined with the many ancillaries will meet the demands of the keen sailor and the accommodation supports the demands of the whole family.

Every year since 2010 my daughter and I plus up to four youngsters have cruised France and the Channel Islands, crossing the channel and anchoring around the islands or berthed in St. Helier, St Peter Port or St Malo. Her large uncluttered cockpit with folding wheel supports family comforts while the large cockpit lockers swallow the many and varied cruising essentials. Internally provisioning is easily absorbed owing to the storage within the central table section and around the galley.

The Duogen is invaluable in supporting electricity demands from auto pilot and radar while channel crossing or when anchored around the islands.

Freestyle is not the typical modern sailing boat and her comprehensive inventory is unlikely to be matched by a boat in this size range.
