Overview

Lovely Bavaria 34 coastal cruiser that comes fully serviced and ready to go. Huge amount of yacht for the money.

Owner's Comments

Second owner from new. She has never been chartered or raced and has been well maintained throughout.

Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”.

 

Until the end of 2001, all Bavaria Yachts were completed to the exacting regulations of German Lloyds.

 

Hull & Superstructure Construction:

  • GRP hull and superstructure.

     

    Deck Construction:

  • The keel is a cast iron bulbed fin externally bolted in place. 
  • The deck is finished with a non-slip finish.
  • The cockpit has a teak capped sole and seating.
  • Alloy toerail.

     

    Keel & Rudder:

    • Rudder dropped and bearing checked August 2016.
    • The rudder is a GRP blade with a stainless steel stock.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • Volvo Penta MD2020-C 29hp diesel engine.
  • Freshwater engine cooling via raw-water inlet and heat exchanger.
  • Saildrive diaphragm replaced June 2016 along with full saildrive service.

  • Interior joinery is of African mahogany faced marine ply with solid mahogany trim where appropriate.
  • Soleboards are finished in hard-wearing teak/holly ‘Laminex’.
  • Deckhead is solid white GRP moulding.
  • Galley worktops are finished in a hygienic grey/white speckled laminate
  • Upholstery is blue with white speckles

  • Galley aft of saloon to port.
  • L-shaped configuration with cooker outboard and laminate worksurface forward with vertical access cold-box and round stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressurised water supply.
  • Stowage in shelves, lockers and drawers.
  • Navigation area positioned opposite to starboard with forward facing chart-table and dedicated chart seat.
  • Aft of chart table is large heads with large wet locker hanging area aft.
  • Aft of galley is the second double cabin with hanging space.

  • Stainless steel pushpit, open-fronted pulpit (with teak step/seat), bathing platform ladder and twin guardwire stanchions.

     

    Anchoring & Mooring Equipment:

  • 38lbs CQR anchor.
  • Additional mid-cleats for mooring.
